  1. The Pelican Resort Owners Group Forum is intended for connecting with fellow Owners and for exchanging information. The Administrator welcomes and encourages the sharing of thoughts and questions.  Please use discretion when posting messages.  Personal attacks, political and religious messages, as well as abusive and anonymous posts will be removed.  
  1. We have volunteered considerable time to create this site as a benefit to Pelican Resort Owners and, in so doing, we reserve the right to delete or edit the User Forums for remarks we feel are inappropriately toned or worded. 
  1. This is not a personal blog and should not be used as such. Misuse of this privilege will cause you to be denied future access to this entire site.  
  1. Please do not abuse the Forum or your fellow Owners by advertising within notes or in threaded posts. Ads are strictly forbidden and will be removed. Exchanges, rentals and sales of Pelican Resort Club units are permitted only in designated threads within the User Forum.  
  1. We reserve the right to delete, restrict, or modify User IDs, registrations, signature lines, or any post that in our sole discretion references a commercial entity. In general, User IDs which reference a commercial entity are not allowed.  
  1. This website is for Pelican Owners. Falsifying your identity with numerous Forum postings under different names or different user id's is cause for deletion of your postings regardless of the content.  Furthermore, if it is determined that you have given false information about your ownership upon registration and we cannot verify same, your access to this site will be revoked. 
  1. Chain letters, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, blatant cross-posting or other solicitations are strictly prohibited.  
  1. This is not the appropriate place for discussion of religion or politics.  
  1. Threads which deteriorate into pointless arguments serve no purpose and topics that escalate too far will be edited, closed or deleted at the moderators’ discretion.  
  1. By using these forums, you agree that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or otherwise in violation of any law. 
  1. Please do not post extremely long posts or large graphics, as even if you have a high speed connection, others may not. We have no problem with your posting a link to your personal home page or to a directory of pictures. Please use discretion and if nude photos are included, please warn readers before opening.

The Pelican Resort Owners Group Forums may be moderated but Pelican Resort Owners Group accepts no liability for legal consequences that arise from the use of these Forums (e.g., copyright violations, libel, slander, or other such crimes). Pelican Resort Owners Group is not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message and are not responsible for the contents of any message. Pelican Resort Owners Group does retain the right to remove any and all messages posted, for whatever reason. Under no circumstances are Pelican Resort Owners Group or it's agents to be held liable for any wrong doings that occur from the usage of these Forums. People that post messages to these Forums are not to libel/slander nor in any other way depict a company, entity, individual or service in a false light. Should they do so, the legal consequences are theirs alone and they agree to hold harmless Pelican Resort Owners Group, the moderators and agents with respect to any claim based on the transmission of your message(s). Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by e-mail.

Pelican Resort Owners Group reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message(s) posted by you.   1. If you do not agree with these rules and policies then do not register an account with us or post any message(s) on these forums. Registering and/or posting of any message(s) constitutes acceptance of these rules and terms of use and member agreement. 
  1. If you wish, your membership can be removed at any time, no questions asked. We know that just because you joined at one time doesn't mean that you necessarily want to stay here forever. You can request your removal by submitting a request to the Site Administrator by clicking CONTACT US.

Pelican Resort Owners Group does not control and is not responsible for any of these sites or their content. Pelican Resort Owners Group reserves the right to request removal of any link to our website.
 
PERSONAL INFORMATION/ PRIVACY NOTICE

To simply view limited areas of the Site without registering, you will not be required to provide any personal information. However, to register for full access, you are required to provide your email address and other information. 

All contact information (address, phone number, e-mail address) entered into this website will be kept confidential.  It will not be shared or distributed with any Third Parties.  Your contact information is private: your street address, e-mail address, and phone number cannot be seen by other Owners unless you grant permission on your Profile (see above).  When someone clicks on your name, the only contact information they will see is your city and state and whatever information about yourself you choose to put on your Profile. Unless you explicitly grant your permission, your email address is not visible, although an email can be sent to you using the contact box at the bottom of your Profile page. Note, however, if you send a message to someone through their Profile page, the Owner will see your email address so that they can respond.
