We Are YOU...Pelican Resort Club Owners
PELICAN RESORT OWNERS GROUP (PROG) was formed early in 2009 as a coalition of several Pelican Resort Club owner-based efforts that were running in parallel. The intent of these recently aligned groups is to speak with one united voice. The purpose/mission of PROG and its website is to put Pelican Owners first! PROG’s efforts center around three (3) goals: Communication; Accountability; and Participation.
Communication - Owners are eager for information about the state of the Resort. This Pelican Resort Owners’ Group Forum (the Forum) will feature timely and in-depth content meant to keep everyone up-to-date and educated. As a member of this website YOU are a member of PROG, and your ideas, suggestions, solutions, issues, comments, objectives, etc. concerning Pelican Resort and/or the Forum are essential. Your input will enable PROG to speak with a united voice to a myriad of issues facing all Owners of Pelican Resort at this critical juncture.

Accountability – PROG is committed to making Tenants Association of Pelican Resort Club (TAPRC) the most open and accountable it has been in its history, and the Forum will play a major role in delivering on that promise. Updates and Pelican related news will be published for members to review. This is just the beginning of PROG's efforts to provide a window for all Owners into the business of TAPRC. In the future Owners will also learn about the individual Board members and about the Board’s priorities. Owners require accountability, and accountability requires transparency.
Participation – is a top priority. It is imperative that all Owners come together for a common cause; presently the prospective financial stability of the Resort. For this to happen, Owners need to vote on the issues, become pro-active and raise issues the TAPRC Board must be responsive to.
To this end, the Forum will play an important role. For example, Owners can participate in the future of the Resort without having to attend the Annual and/or Special General Meetings (although it is hoped that many Owners will attend) by signing petitions, voting by proxy, posting objectives and suggesting solutions on the User Forums.
PROG's mission and objectives must continually evolve based on ever changing issues facing Pelican Resort and Owners' participation and input. Only with Owner participation can PROG be successful. So thanks in advance for your patience and for your feedback.
